High-performance, moisture-wicking stretch nylon with durable support. Explore more behind our tights and sports bra fabric.

Groundwork Knit is made using a premium grade nylon that has a significantly tighter woven filament than standard synthetics. Tighter filaments mean less microfiber shedding in the wash-cycle, plus greater durability of the garment (longer lifespan, more wearing).

Groundwork Knit fabric is also bluesign® certified meaning it is free from harmful chemicals and is fabricated in a way that meets a high environmental standard.

Without question, these are the most comfortable and well designed running tights I've had. In terms of material, they feel pleasantly more substantial than I thought they would - definitely going to be in regular use for any run below 10 Celcius. They feel 'designed', as if cut to correctly fit the male anatomy - you know how sometimes with a pair of running tights, it's like your body is trying to squeeze them off again so you need to tie the waist band to stop them ending down at your knees? Not these - it's like they've been tailored to snugly fit. I didn't even tie the substantial waistband before the run, they simply sat on my hips (I'm 5ft 8in, waist usually 30in, so I bought Medium). Then there's the storage options - symmetrical, abundant, secure pockets. I could be wrong but I count six - six! I managed to get these in a sale but honestly, if I'd paid shy of a hundred I'd still be pleased.

Just great

Best tights i've ever had. Quality materials, you forget your wearing them. The cut and fit is perfect, somehow they manage to let you keep your modesty. Plenty of storage. Cant fault them.

Very good - but bit baggy around the crotch

Quality material, warm, with great non-bounce storage and very comfortable.

I did find that they have too much material around the crotch so I need to pull them up then bunch the waist band down to get a good fit. From the other review this seems like this was a common issue.

So near and yet so far

Great fabric, maintain elasticity and shape over multiple washes but space in the crotch and a very unfortunately-placed seam means you can't wear them for any run longer than 5 miles or suffer rather nasty undercarriage-chafing. Why are all running tights not made seamless...?

Decent tights, but not for longer runs

The tights seem to be well made, the fabric feels good against the skin and they are a good thickness for winter wear down to freezing temperatures. I also really like the large pockets on them and how easy these are to access while running. They fit ok, but like another reviewer I find they are baggier than expected in the crotch. The biggest downside for me is that I find some of the seams cause chafing in intimate areas if worn for runs longer than 4-5 miles.
