Our new Rainrunner fabric has a C6 DWR finish for high-performing, long-lasting water repellency and faster dry times. C6 DWR is made from short-chain PFC's (perfluorinated chemicals) that, while better than long-chain PFC's, we recognize are not environmentally ideal. We are actively testing and looking for an alternative to C6 DWR finishing that will not compromise on the performance of our Rainrunner fabric as we transition to more PFC-free bio-based water repellent finishes.
Our Rainrunner fabric is bluesign® certified meaning it is free from harmful chemicals and is fabricated in a way that meets a high environmental standard.
