I got 3 of these shorts in Galaxy (blue), Obsidian (grey) and Ocean (green), all in the same size. The Obsidian and Ocean are both the same design - that as advertised of a back zipped pocket and a pocket on each hip. The Galaxy however does not have a back pocket but instead has two zipped pockets on the right hip - one facing forward and the other backwards. You can actually see the differences on the websites photos.
The Galaxy’s pocket arrangement is slightly weird and seems a bit puckered but it works. The other difference is that the leg on the Galaxy is much wider than on the Obsidian or the Ocean. This is good as I find that the Obsidian and Ocean tend to roll up on the inner thigh as I’m running. The Galaxy being wider does not roll up but stays in place. I have slightly chubby thighs that might contribute to them rolling up but not massively so.
The material is lovely and comfortable, the waistband is good and stays in place when running. The zipped pockets are great for carrying multiples like a phone and keys.
Overall despite the Galaxy’s slightly weird pocket arrangement, I prefer the Galaxy as the inner thigh does not roll up unlike the other two.
