Waterproof layers do not often equate to running comfort when you're hot and sweaty. We strategically designed our Rainrunner Pack Jacket to solve for this by integrating 360º venting around your core, where you need it most.
The Rainrunner's unique panel venting system acts as an air-intake on the chest while the vents under the arm and across the back release heat from the core to prevent that swampy overheating of many waterproof layers. We've kept the jacket lightweight and streamlined for high-output performance by reducing unnecessary components while prioritizing all-around function — lots of secure storage, a snug scuba hood with an integrated micro-visor and buttery smooth YKK Vislon® Aquaguard® zipper.

“For those light sprinkles to torrential downpour, this jacket has me covered. Super breathable with all around venting through the torso as well as having enough flex for comfort. [...] I would definitely recommend this jacket for anyone looking to invest in a quality running rain jacket or just looking for something light to throw on around town when the skies start to cry.— Will |

A Better Stretch RipstopThe Rainrunner is made of a 2.5L laminated stretch ripstop fabric for durable wind and waterproof protection that is extra light, breathable and allows for total range of motion. All seams are fully taped and the fabric has a PFC-free water repellency for an environmentally friendly finish that will not shed PFC's through wear or washing. This season we teamed up with runners in South Africa to take the updated Rainrunner on a test run, although the rain never did show. |
