W's 3.5" Trail Short

I like the shorts. The pockets are great which is what I bought them for. A vest alone just doesn't do it. Being able to stick my very long phone in my shorts has been great because I use it a lot for navigation and hate trying to fit it in my pack.
I find the shorts do ride up a bit on the inner thigh and dig into my thighs which gives them an odd look so I would probably opt for the 5 inch next time to avoid that.
I got the wave design which I wasn't that bothered about but black was sold out and I didn't fancy light green.
I bought a size small and found the shorts are pretty snug on the waist so if you don't like things too tight against your stomach a medium might feel better.I don't think it would come up loose.

I really wanted to love these as I have the 5" and they are fantastic, I just wanted something a bit shorter for the hotter days. Unfortunately these don't have the same grip that the 5" do even though they really need more at this length. The very little inside grip they do have does not work for me so they are constantly rolling/riding up. They look great before you actually start to move, and they fit great everywhere else, but they just aren't very friendly for thicker thighs.

I typically wear traditional running shorts so these were my first purchase of Lycra style running shorts. The pockets are amazing and I’m considering wearing these for future long ultra races as a result. The fabric does ride up a little which is a shame but the longer ones would be too long for my liking. I’m going to continue to test them out!

Great technical features. Funky pattern. But if you've got a small waist, and you train your legs there's a good chance that they'll fit your waist but not your thighs unfortunately. Next size up to accommodate my legs would be too big on the waist. Janji please include the diameter of the legs in future.
