M's 4" Pinnacle R.D. Short 2-in-1

I was waiting for the Trail Half Tights to come back into stock, then these dropped. I immediately bought 2 and they arrived the following day. These are my dream shorts!
The same day I returned them and decided to wait for the trail tights to be back in stock. :)

What a disappointment. Contrary to the website there is no S-clip for the keys, nor a loop in a pocket to use one. Not my biggest issue though, but they should get that right in the description. As well as 6 or 8 pockets (it has 6).

I tried gels and tissues in the right waste pocket, gloves in the left, 500ml soft flask in the front, 183gram light rain jacket in the back. Phone went in the thigh pocket of the tights. After 15 minutes the back of the short started dropping. The soft flask was in the front and that was absolutely fine. I ended up swapping the rain jacket to the front and soft flask to the back. The soft flask was bouncing like a toddler on a sugar rush at a trampoline park. And yes, the back of the shorts dropped again. There is no cord in the shorts to tighten up. I drank half of the bottle and whilst that helped reduce the bounding the belt just ends up sagging. I order to prevent the bounding a bit there are very small push buttons in the middle of each pocket, but it is an absolute faff to click them together behind your back whilst running. All this without having tried poles. This shouldn't be happening with £100 shorts. But when you don't decide to carry much they are great. Well made and the fit is lovely.

I got the right size (M). I am 6' tall, weigh 74.5kg and my normal size is Medium or 32.

Last Friday the 8'' trail half tights in black came back in stock and I decided to order 2 and throw my insecurities of sporting half tights out of the window. Now those are amazing! Can't wait to order 2 6'' Trail Half Tights when they come back in stock.
